That little Chip is a real chip off the old block and trying to grow up to be just like Elmer.  Elmer takes Chip down to the oxygen factory some times when he isn’t in school, and just last year Chip won an award at the Grand Tree Science Fair.  His experiment involved oxygen and ozone, information he got down at the factory.

Cherry, of course, wants to be just like Maple and follows her around every where.  Maple dotes on her, but has been known to say Cherry is so close they’ll probably never part within their lifetimes.

Cherry also loves her brother Chip, when he isn’t being just like a guy and playing pranks on her or P. W., and of course she’s the apple tree of Elmer’s eye.
